Arabic Dish

Red Beans Broth

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans red beans
  • 2 minced red onions
  • 1 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 green cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spices
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon to garnish the beans

Steps:

  • Sauté the onion until soft, add garlic, ginger, cayenne, and then stir.
  • Add the tomato, tomato paste, spices, and turmeric.
  • Add the beans, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Before serving garnish the beans with olive oil.
